DAMIEN LEITH
Singer/songwriter Damien Leith will release a brand new album of original music with independent Sydney-based label Social Family Records. The album will be Leith’s seventh album and is set for release on 1st November this year. The album will be previewed with two acoustic gigs in Sydney and Melbourne on 20th and 21st September.
FENECH-SOLER
Rituals is the upcoming second album from Fenech-Soler, set for release on September 6. It follows their self-titled debut album, released in 2010. The video for ‘All I Know’ is out now, as well as audio for ‘Maiyu’, plus the album’s first full single ‘Magnetic’.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE
The 20/20 Experience from Justine Timberlake will continue on September 27th when The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 and The 20/20 Experience – The Complete Experience are released on RCA Records through Sony Music Entertainment Australia. The first single from this second installment of the album, ‘Take Back The Night’, is out now.
ETIENNE DE CRECY
Etienne de Crécy has announced a brand new EP Beats N Cubes Vol 2, to be released on his own label Pixadelic on 4th August. The first track on the EP ‘We, Computers’ can be streamed below.
WILD ROMPIT
Wild Rompit will release their new album Spirit Moves on August 27th. It’s the follow up to their 2011 EP Brotherhood.
THE VACCINES
The Vaccines have announced a brand new EP Melody Calling, due for release on August 9 to coincide with their North American tour with Phoenix and Mumford & Sons. It follows their second album The Vaccines Come Of Age. The first single ‘Melody Calling’ can be heard below.
POLICA
Poliça are set to release their new album Shulamith on 18th October, following their debut album Give You the Ghost. The album’s first single ‘Tiff’ is out now, with the song feature guest vocals from Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon.
ZEAHORSE
Zeahorse will release their debute LP Pools on 27th September via Hub The Label and Inertia. Two singles from the album are out already, ‘Tugboat’ and ‘Career’.
2X4
2X4 have release new single ‘Refined By Fire’, from their second release Dark Hand, due out on July 30th. It’s the follow-up to their Dead Days album.
WOLF & CUB
Four years after their second album Science & Sorcery, Wolf & Cub are back with their upcoming third album Heavy Weight, set for release on Friday September 13th. Their newest single from the upcoming release is ‘I Need More’, available now via iTunes.
SANTANA & MCLAUGHLIN
On 1st July 2011, Montreux hosted the reunion of Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin with their Invitation To Illumination convert, featuring tracks from their 1973 album Love Devotion Surrender. The concert will be available on DVD and Blueray from August 23rd this year.
JUPITER LION
Jupiter Lion’s debut album Silver Mouth will be released on 5th August via BCore. The lead single ‘Black Mouth’ will be officially released on 29th July.
DOUBLE PHELIX
Double Phelix label are releasing their latest compilation The Call of Double Phelix on August 13th. It features 12 singles released in the first half of 2013 on the label, which you can preview below.
FUR TRADE
Fur Trade will release their debut album Don’t Get Heavy on July 23rd via Last Gang Records. The ‘Voyager’ single is out now.
ALEX LLOYD
Alex Lloyd is returning to Australia after 5 years abroad, with the launch of a Pledge Campaign to complete the release of his sixth studio album Urban Wilderness. The crowd funding campaign was launched with the first single from the next album ‘Better The Less You Know’.
BRETT DENNEN
Brett Dennen will release his fifth studio album Smoke and Mirrors through F-Stop Music/Atlantic on October 22. It’s the follow up to 2011’s Loverboy, and the new album’s first single ‘Wild Child’ is out now.
NILE RODGERS
Nile Rodgers will release a greatest hits album on Friday 2 August, titled Nile Rodgers - Presents The Chic Organization Up All Night. The two disc collections comes after Rodgers’ co-writing and collaboration on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories.
MORCHEEBA
Head Up High is the new album from Morcheeba released October 14th this year through [PIAS] Recordings. It’s their 8th studio album and the follow up to 2010’s Blood Like Lemonade. The new single ‘Gimme Your Love’ is out now.
SCORPIONS
Moment of Glory is a new DVD & Blu Ray release of a live performance by Scorpions in 2000 with the Berliner Philharmoniker orchestra. It’s out on August 2 2013.
ERASED TAPES
Erased Tapes is releasing its 5th Anniversary box set Erased Tapes Collection V, a collection of five seven-inch records with ten exclusive songs recorded by Erased Tapes artists in celebration of the birthday. There’s only 500 copies worldwide and it’s a vinyl only release until 24th December.

The new studio album from UB40, Getting Over The Storm will be released on 6th September. It’s their first album in three years since 2010’s Labour of Love IV.

Kate Nash has released a remix EP, OMYGOD!>/i> in Canada through Dine Alone Records, featuring one new track and an array of previously unheard versions of the song ‘OMYGOD!’.
